Intense week. Lots of focused session, both in work and practice.

Work & Art

Doing commission
  • Almost finish another 2 commissions
  • Facing heaps of challenges and able to pull through
    • the challenge of Unbeauty🌱 is there, but I'm not as helpless as before, being able to stop drawing, reviewing possible problems, speculating possible solution and a lot of trial and error after that
    • the solution might not be perfect but not giving up is a big achievement to me

I CAN DRAW HANDS!!!! I'm so glad all those practice sessions did pay off!

Practice Review

  • I can more clearly see that how much I've been relying on symbol drawing.
    • I don't think symbol drawing is a bad thing. If I set a standard of avoiding it 100% the time, the number of problem to solve would be too much for me too actually finish an artwork.
    • Symbol Drawing can be an indispensable part in a unique style if it's very consistent.

Random stuffs

  • There are a lot of backlog and plan in Seeds Storage but I really should take my time and process them slowly
  • The Fediverse and Misskey in particular seems so fun! But I'm a bit skeptical about scalability and data backup.
    • Do I trust a big company to handle my data or a small individual or group?
    • What happens if someone grows really fast on a small server, can the system handle it?
  • Being away from social media makes my time management hundred times easier, but I want to maintain my online presence and connect with other people too! Needs to find way to not become sucked into doom scrolling again.

I need a better structure for the blog entry, "random stuffs" is non-descriptive and so useless!!! Maybe I just name a new heading based on the content of that week, doesnt have to be a fixed category.
